Tommy and Timmy are bears. They always dress identically. They normally wear yellow t-shirts, purple shorts, yellow socks and black and white sneakers. As they are identical twins, Timmy always wears a blue handkerchief while Tommy wears a red handkerchief to differentiate.
Personality
Tommy and Timmy are mischievous, smart, reckless and often really mean and annoying (Timmy more than Tommy) but deep down they are good kids. Timmy is more independent and meaner than his brother as seen in "Double Tibble Trouble", when Tommy is not with Timmy he gets sad and behaves, but at the end of the episode when Tommy gets sick Timmy doesn't seem sad and behaves like always.
Family
Tommy and Timmy live with their grandmother in a haunted looking house.
- Mrs. Tibble: Tommy and Timmy's grandmother. She loves the twins very much. In the episode "Mind your manners" the twins forced themselves to learn manners to take Mrs. Tibble out to dinner. The Tibbles spend all of their time at her house when they're not in preschool.
- Tommy and Timmy's parents: It was never said what happened to them. Many fans thought that they died but in "DW's Backpack Mishap" when D.W. took Tommy's backpack by mistake, she found items that their parents had given them in trips where they go. That might explain that their parents might be travellers. The Tibble's Mom's name is Trixie, (she's refered to in "D.W.'s Blankie) but there's no mention of their father. This hints that the Tibble's parents are dead or that their parents are divorced.
